Monthly Airball Practice

Because of the large response, Tank's will be hosting a tournament airball practice day once a month. Basicly, once a month, teams can sign up a week in advance to practice on airball all day on a designated Sunday. There will be few rules, though.
First, all teams signed up will be expected to ref designated games for other teams, as they will be reffing for you. Teams will play roughly 2 games per hour and ref once an hour.
Second, there will be a designated schedule to regulate the games. The schedule must be strictly followed. This insures everyone gets there set number of games in. If a team is constantly late for games, either as players or refs, they won't be practicing on airball the next month. Everyone will depend on each other for this.
Third, refs need to squiggee off the bunkers before a game starts. Tanks sponsered teams will put away the fields, but we do ask that everyone does their part in helping to keep it clean.
Forth, I will make a post two weeks out from the scheduled practice. If your team plans on attending, please post that you'll be playing. Sign ups will close the Sunday before the practice. I will, then, post the schedule by Friday at midnight, so that everyone will know their times to play and ref well before the practice. If your team no-shows without notice, you will not be allowed to perticipate in future practices.
Lastly, everyone should have fun and learn. Altough we are trying to mimic a tournament, it's not. There's nothing on the line, except expierience. Refs will be there to make calls, but if your team plans on playing gray, don't sign up. Thanks.

ok, guys, if any teamsigns up and doesn't fulfill their obligations (ref or play when scheduled, play fair, run out of paint, basicly cause ANYONE else to suffer for their actions), they will not be allowed back for at least one month, maybe more. so it's simple, if you even remotely think that you can't, DON'T. ok?

that's sort of correct. it would be in three weeks, but that's the epl. so we're making it june 27th. that's the last time epic's practicing before denver. so we'll set it up then. sign up's will be june 14th-20th.

we suck. So do u think gettin our ass kicked by epic and OC help us get better? cause we want to play HRL this year? We will need more peeps though since theres only 3 of us? ne suggestions? Personally i dont mind gettin my ass kicked and gettin bunkered, just as long as something or som1 teaches me wat went wrong and wat i can do to get better

You wouldnt be playing OC and Epic because they play 7-man. You would be playing other Rookie 5-man teams. I dunno about 3-man HRL format. Jeff???

Thats the plan as I understand it. He'll set-up for any format as long as at least four teams sign up for that format.

yep, that's the deal. need at least 4 teams per format. yes, practicing better teams will help you, but not as much as fixing your problems. playing better teams just expose your problems, it doesn't fix them. playing 5 man will help you play 3, but playing 3 doesn't help you play 5 much. so if there aren't enough 3 man signed up, see about getting a few others to make 5.
