SHSU Tryouts!!!

Hey guys! Just wanted everyone to know that tryouts have changed from Mania to Twisted Games on August 29th at around 10:30 according to Abel ( The President). I also wanted to know who all was coming that signed up at Passport To Sam. FYI this is a private group and the public isn't allowed so you had to sign up. Thanks.....

you will have to talk to Abel about us scrimmaging. i am sure he would let the ones that made it at the end of the day maybe scrimmage a team or something. but i am not sure you would have to contact him personally.

What will the tryout consist of? I put my name down on the Passport to Sam and have talked/played with a few of the Sam guys before, but not sure if I will be wanting to play.

consists of stretching, drills and then a lil 5 man practice........ this isn't set in stone but i think thats how it will go.

The tryouts will consist of conditioning, and we will be breaking down every fundamental known to man on everyone trying out. We will need to see where everyone stands. Scrimming most likly will happen in the end but the whole day will pretty much be just SHSU players and potentials against each other. All i can say is drink plenty of water the day before and eat a good breakfast. Bring your A game people... Anag out...

hey guys this is abel, the current presidnet of shsu club paintball. i just wanted to clear everything up to make sure we are all on the same page for this saturday. Tryouts will begin at 10am (but well be out there around 9ish setting up the field so your more than welcome to come out early). Technically this is not a private/closed tryout BUT you are required to be a full time shsu student (12 hrs or more). We will have a few people who will help run/judge the tryouts to maintain an unbias stand point. We will be running various drills, game scenarios, and full out games. We will be judging overall ablility, gun skills, awareness, ect. Please be ready to pay entry and paintball like normal. if you have any questions or comments please feel free to let me know thanks
